    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a fast-growing, commercially driven organisation operating within the eCommerce and online retail space. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations for the company's eCommerce business stream.

    Working across multiple online sales platforms, you will manage high-volume transaction flows and provide accurate, timely financial insight to support business decision-making. The organisation is currently delivering an ambitious 5-year growth strategy, and this role will play a key part in supporting new projects and scaling financial processes in line with business expansion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage month-end close activities for the eCommerce function, including bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and preparation of monthly accounts
    • Reconcile high-volume online sales transactions across multiple platforms
    • Deliver regular sales, margin, and performance analysis to support commercial decision-making
    • Monitor and reconcile outbound logistics, returns, and customs tariffs
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve financial variances and reporting outliers
    • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting
    • Support the development of financial controls and reporting structures aligned to new business initiatives and projects

    Skills, Experience & Attributes

    • Newly or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
    • Previous experience in eCommerce or retail environments is highly desirable
    • Familiarity with online sales platforms such as Shopify and Amazon
    • Experience with multi-jurisdiction VAT and cross-border transactions
    • Proven ability to reconcile high volumes of transactional data accurately
    • Strong IT capability, including advanced Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Business Central and Power BI is advantageous
    • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Flexible, reliable, and collaborative approach to work
