As a key member of the Site Facilities & Engineering (F&E) group, you will support facilities operations and the delivery of capital projects. This role balances project execution with the long-term reliability and compliance of critical infrastructure. Over time, the successful candidate will transition into a System Owner for designated facilities systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Support the full lifecycle of capital and operational projects, from concept and design through to commissioning, punch-list management, and final turnover.
- Technical System Support: Provide operational expertise for critical site systems, including:
- HVAC: Overseeing AHUs, pressure cascades, and cleanroom environmental controls (GMP).
- Lifts & Vertical Storage: Serving as the SME for warehouse storage systems and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., LOLER).
- Electromechanical Doors: Managing sensors, actuators, and safety features to maintain site segregation and GMP flows.
- Maintenance & Compliance: Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans via CMMS (Maximo). Coordinate site shutdowns and ensure all systems remain in an inspection-ready state.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with EHS, Quality, and external vendors to ensure all works are executed safely and in alignment with site operational needs.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree: Bachelor's in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (Biopharma preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Proven experience in facilities infrastructure, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance strategy.
Core Competencies
- Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs and control logic.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple project priorities.
- Familiarity with BMS/EMS monitoring and data integrity requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
