We are seeking a high-caliber Engineering Manager to lead both maintenance operations and strategic capital programs. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle (CAPEX and OPEX), manage site assets, and drive a culture of excellence through the design and implementation of a comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy.
- Role Overview:
- Department Leadership: Manage daily engineering operations, including budgets, personnel, training, and performance reporting.
- Facilities Oversight: Lead asset management and utility monitoring (Gas, Electricity, Water, Air) for all plant structures.
- Technical Delivery: Lead end-to-end projects in process engineering, automated systems, and raw material storage.
- Sustainability & Scale: Drive energy reduction initiatives and manage complex plant shutdowns or decommissioning.
- Strategy & TPM: Deploy site-wide CI and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs aligned with global standards.
- Data & Lean Integration: Implement OEE/CMMS data systems and lead Lean Six Sigma tools (5S, A3, Process Mapping).
- Mentorship & Change: Mentor Green/Black Belt trainees and act as site gatekeeper for Management of Change (MOC).
- Skills, Attributes & Experience:
- Level 8 degree in relevant Engineering, Science or business discipline
- 8 years + Engineering experience in highly regulated/GMP environments
- Experience in operational excellence and business process improvements
- Strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to act on own initiative.
