ESG Risk Specialist - 12 Month Contract

Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a leading global bank currently seeking a professional for an ESG Risk & Environmental Scenario Analysis Specialist role. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will play a critical role within the second line of defense, driving the implementation of EBA Guidelines on ESG risk management and embedding environmental scenario analysis into the bank's core risk architecture.

Primary Functions:

• Environmental Scenario Analysis & Stress Testing: Support the development, execution, and documentation of climate scenario methodologies.

• Prudential Transition Plan: Support the development and annual refresh of the PTP.

• Materiality & Risk Profile: Support the annual ESG materiality assessment and embed its findings into the ICAAP.

• Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Lead gap analyses, control mapping, and regulatory submissions to ensure audit-ready compliance evidence.

What We Are Seeking:

• Professional Background: Proven banking risk management experience.

• Functional Proficiency: Exposure to climate/ESG risk frameworks and scenario analysis.
