Great full time permanent position for an experienced Bank Teller. This roll will offer variety and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers during transactions.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience.
- Open new bank accounts for customers.
- Cash Handling: Operate registers, scanners, the bank safe and other relevant devices.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and adhere to security protocols.
- Promote bank products and services to customers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Follow regulatory guidelines and internal policies and procedures.
- Detect and report suspicious activities or potential fraud.
- Manage Cash Deliveries.
- Accurate Transaction Processing and Reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Maintain account opening and account maintenance files.
- Log and rectify any errors.
Qualification:
- QFA, or APA in Loans and / or Savings and Investments is preferred however not essential.
- Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in ensuring the accuracy of all documentation.
- Needs to be a very organised individual with a good knowledge of the risk control and regulatory environment.
- Prior experience in financial services is beneficial. Cash-handling experience is important.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills. Professional level English essential.
