About the Role
Morgan McKinley is working with an innovation hub who is looking to hire a Content Designer to bring brands to life across graphic design, photography, videography, and motion graphics. If you're passionate about storytelling, visual design, multitasking and creative problem-solving, this role is for you.
Responsibilties
You'll be working across a wide range of creative outputs, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
- Creative Campaigns & Design: Deliver end-to-end creative work-from initial brief to final production-for digital, print, and in-venue screens/posters.
- Brand & Design System Management: Maintain and govern Canva and Adobe libraries, ensuring all assets are current and aligned with brand guidelines across the brand and its sub-brands.
- Web & UX: Manage updates on Squarespace sites, ensuring landing pages are optimised for user experience and consistently on-brand.
- Content Creation: Capture compelling event photography, staff portraits, and everyday office moments. Edit in Lightroom and maintain a well-organised, searchable image archive.
- Video Production: Storyboard, film, and edit video content such as event highlights or founder interviews. Experience with motion graphics is a strong plus.
Skills & Requirements
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of professional design experience, including work within an agency or in-house content/social team.
- Confident in managing small-scale projects independently, though not expected to lead a team.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
- Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects is a bonus.
- Proven experience designing for digital platforms and social media.
- Motion graphics skills are a definite advantage.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, SEO best practices, and current online trends.
- Experience with Squarespace and other CMS platforms.
- A highly organised, flexible team player who's eager to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
