As a Communications Specialist within the Strategic Initiatives and Communications for Partner Engagement team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the narrative and operational rhythm of our most critical internal partnerships. This team is responsible for managing all communications and long-term strategic initiatives that impact Product Areas and Business, Engineering, Technology, and Strategy groups. Your primary focus will be to ensure seamless change management and to drive high-impact collaboration across global stakeholders during this temporary leave period.
In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor and a hands-on executor, distilling complex technical and organizational updates into clear, actionable, and engaging content. You will work closely with leadership to safeguard team continuity and ensure that our internal partners remain informed, aligned, and motivated.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or a similar field.
- Demonstrated experience drafting, editing, and producing content across multiple mediums, including high-stakes emails, executive presentations, internal newsletters, and long-form articles.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of designing or overhauling communication channels (e.g., migrating to new platforms, redesigning newsletter templates, or launching new feedback loops).
- Strong understanding of communications best practices, including audience segmentation, storytelling, and brand voice consistency.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and analytics platforms to track engagement metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to translate complex strategic concepts into simple, visual, and persuasive narratives for diverse internal audiences.
Responsibilities
- Mass Communications Execution: Draft, review, and distribute high-priority communications to internal PAs and BETS, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging monthly newsletters and develop visually compelling presentations for leadership meetings and town halls.
- Channel Management: Maintain and optimize existing communication channels, ensuring all information repositories (e.g., internal sites, shared drives) are up-to-date and user-friendly.
- Strategic Support: Provide independent support to the team on long-term strategic plays, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and streamline change management processes.
- Metrics and Tracking: Monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts through data analysis and sentiment tracking, providing regular reports to the team on reach and impact.
