Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to hire an experienced Business Unit Manager for their Immunology division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team dedicated to improving patient outcomes and advancing standards of care in a rapidly evolving therapeutic area.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the strategic direction, tactical execution, and commercial performance of key brands within the immunology portfolio. You will lead brand strategy, manage marketing and commercial activities, and coach the in-field team to drive growth and optimise performance.
This is a people management position reporting into the Business Unit Director.
Deliver marketing and sales initiatives in line with the Brand Plan to exceed sales, margin, and budget objectives.
Lead the team with a strong, unified vision and ensure clear alignment to strategic goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with local, regional, and global brand teams.
Foster an innovative, proactive, and collaborative team culture.
Organise and lead Brand Team meetings ensuring clear communication and effective execution.
Coach and develop the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
Manage financial planning and performance for the brand portfolio.
Build and maintain effective cross-functional partnerships to support successful strategy execution.
Support talent development, succession planning, and capability building within sales and marketing.
Align local brand strategies with wider regional/global objectives.
Drive improvements in customer experience and support the development of innovative customer engagement strategies.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with proven marketing and sales leadership experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a commercial, marketing, or brand leadership role.
Strong ability to build strategic vision and translate it into actionable plans.
Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and developing teams.
Strong understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
In-depth experience in strategic and tactical marketing and sales execution.
Ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrix organisation.
Solid understanding of financial planning and commercial performance drivers.
