We are working with a leading financial services organisation that is embarking on a major transformation programme. As part of this strategic change, they are looking to hire a permanent Business Analyst to join their growing transformation team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in financial services or banking to contribute to high-impact initiatives that will modernise core systems, optimise processes, and improve customer and internal experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document detailed business and functional requirements
- Analyse existing processes and identify areas for efficiency, automation, or redesign
- Work closely with transformation, technology, and operations teams to shape and deliver change initiatives
- Create process maps, user stories, and business cases to support decision-making
- Ensure traceability of requirements through development, testing, and implementation
- Support change management and communication activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and user interviews
- Assist with planning and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT)
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services or banking sector
- Demonstrated involvement in transformation or change programmes (e.g., systems upgrades, operational improvements, regulatory change)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business and technical teams
- Proficient in requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Desirable
- Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., core banking platforms, CRM, ERP)
- Business analysis certification (e.g., IIBA, BCS, CBAP)
- Exposure to regulatory or digital transformation projects
