On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to join a global finance transformation team focused on process optimization and automation within the accounting function. With continued organizational growth, there is an increasing need to invest in streamlining operations, implementing automation, and enhancing technology solutions. This role has a global scope and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including accounting, finance, and technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and finance automation, along with strong technical aptitude, a solid understanding of internal controls, and a background in process design. This position plays a key role in delivering technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex projects involving stakeholders from accounting, finance, and technology teams
- Drive multiple initiatives to successful completion across global teams
- Standardize project communication, execution, and documentation to enable scalable, consistent global processes
- Translate business and accounting requirements into functional solutions in partnership with technical teams
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans that reflect dependencies, constraints, and risks, while maintaining a strong bias for action
- Clearly communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to stakeholders at all levels
- Remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
- Occasional international travel, up to approximately 10%

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related analytical discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, computer science)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical field
- At least 5 years of program or project management experience
- Proven experience defining program requirements and using data to drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
- Track record of managing accounting or finance process improvement and/or technology projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering results on large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Background in automation, process improvement, and data-driven analysis
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, IPMA)
- Lean or continuous improvement certification.
