Junior Bookkeeper

Main Responsibilities

• Processing customer and supplier invoices
• Generating supplier payment runs
• Liaising with customers to resolve any issues
• Credit Control
• Processing all payments
• Bank lodgements
• Monthly bank account reconciliation
• Credit Card reconciliation
• Preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns
• Processing Vies/Intrastat
• Assist with processing monthly journals on system
• Maintain multicurrency exchange rates
• Maintain accurate filing system
• Liaison with auditors and preparation of files for auditors

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
• Have excellent organisational skills to maintain tight deadlines
• Positive attitude
• Be able to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
• Adaptable with strong attention to detail
