    Accounts Payable Assistant (2-Month Contract)

    Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week

    About:
    A leading global retailer is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistants to join their finance
    team on a short-term contract basis. This is a critical support role during a transition of
    AP operations to an external provider, and the successful candidates will play a key part
    in maintaining business continuity.


    Key Responsibilities:
    ● Process high-volume PO invoices (approx. 10,000/month) across multiple entities
    ● Manage invoice categories including utilities, legal fees, marketing, office fit-outs, and
    staff welfare
    ● Review and input invoices into Oracle; ensure accuracy and compliance with internal
    controls
    ● Support direct debit clearing and liaise with suppliers to resolve payment issues
    ● Assist with journal splits and cost allocation across entities (training provided)
    ● Handle queries and manage queues efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    ● Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain smooth
    operations


    About You:

    ● Multi-entity, multi-currency environment
    ● Oracle system experience is essential
    ● Exposure to VAT and high-value invoice processing is highly desirable
    ● Proven experience in Accounts Payable or Receivable, ideally in high-volume
    environments
    ● Strong communication and collaboration skills
    ● Proactive, flexible, and resilient with excellent time management
    ● Comfortable working independently and managing queries with minimal supervision
    ● Able to adapt quickly and contribute to business-as-usual operations during a critical
    transition
