Morgan McKinley is representing a key client in theFMCG/Manufacturing sector who is seeking a Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor to lead their warehouse operations and shipping function. This is a critical leadership role with responsibility for managing inventory, warehouse processes, and international shipment across global markets.
This role is a full time on site permanent position within a progressive company with huge growth plans over the next 5 years.
As Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor, you will manage the end-to-end warehouse operations and shipping activities for finished goods and raw materials. You will ensure accurate inventory management, compliance with regulatory requirements, and seamless coordination with internal and international teams. You will lead a team of warehouse personnel, fostering technical expertise, efficiency, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop the Warehouse & Shipping Team, including Team Leads and Material Handlers.
Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping of all materials and finished goods.
Manage daily and weekly shipments to EMEA, China, and other markets, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance (DG and non-DG).
Maintain strong SAP knowledge across Warehouse, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Finance modules.
Collaborate with Logistics, Production, Planning, Finance, QA, and international transport teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor inventory movement, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate SAP records.
Ensure high standards of packing, paperwork accuracy, and warehouse organization.
Support inspection and audit readiness activities with Finance, Insurance, and Quality teams.
Proactively identify operational risks and implement solutions.
Manage performance, set objectives, and develop the careers of direct reports.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in Warehouse, Shipping, or Supply Chain operations.
Degree or Diploma in Business, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of SAP required.
IMDG Air and Ocean certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience managing international shipments is highly desirable
