The Role
Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Transport Planner will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination and planning of transport operations for designated customer accounts and geographical regions.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily transport activities for assigned customers and regions.
- Optimise vehicle utilisation while ensuring efficient and cost-effective route planning.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor transport schedules and respond proactively to operational issues or changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and customer service standards.
- Work closely with the wider operations team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate transport records and operational documentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role.
- Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to think laterally and make sound operational decisions.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to use your own initiative.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
