Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to support internal clients on hardware and software issues. This is a contract role and is 5 days onsite in the Cork City office. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a similar role and will have in depth experience with iOS and Apple devices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to internal clients.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in ticketing system
- Own the issue and facilitate technical support from the initial contact to resolution
- Escalate unresolved complex issues to appropriate support teams
Requirements:
- 2-5 years in a customer facing technical support role
- 1+ year of in depth experience working with iOS/MacOS
- Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Excellent English-language oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of IP networking and basic network troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of multi-tiered and web-based information systems architecture
