Tax Accountant

Our client, a well established accounting practice in Cork is seeking to hire an experienced Tax Accountant.

This position give you the opportunity to work in a wide range of clients across an assortment of industries.

Role Description

• Tax Preparation & Filing: Accurately complete and submit tax forms for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates.
• Tax Planning & Strategy: Develop strategies to reduce tax burdens through legal methods, advising on tax implications of financial decisions.
• Financial Analysis: Review and analyse financial data to find efficient ways to record transactions and optimise tax exposure.
• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather information, explain complex tax issues, and provide tailored advice.
• Auditing: Audit client records, resolve tax-related discrepancies, and represent clients before tax authorities if needed.

Requirements

• ACCA, CPA ,CTA
• Previous exposure to tax law, accounting principles, and tax software
• Desire to further your career within an Accounting Practice specialising in Tax
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
