About the Opportunity

Morgan McKinley is partnering with our long-established client-a highly respected family-owned business with a 150-year legacy of market-leading innovation.

Operating within a high-performing finance unit in Cork, this role acts as the Senior FP&A Lead to the strategic function. You will guide corporate commercial strategy through robust forecasting, three-year business planning, and top-class business partnering to support executive financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Drive the complete end-to-end execution of three-year business plans, annual budgeting, and quarterly financial forecasting cycles.

• Commercial Insights: Conduct strategic analysis on key commercial levers, delivering actionable performance insights to senior stakeholders.

• Decision Support: Provide direct analytical support to the Finance Director, Head of Finance, and Senior FP&A Manager.

• Process Optimization: Identify and execute standardization and efficiency improvements across budgeting and forecasting frameworks.

• Cross-Functional Projects: Lead financial modeling, value-creation analysis, and change management initiatives for strategic corporate projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).

• Experience: 5+ years in a senior finance or highly analytical commercial role.

• Stakeholder Management: Confident communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of influencing senior leadership.

• Agility & Data Literacy: Top-tier numerical modeling and data interpretation skills with the ability to make decisions at pace.

• Systems Mindset: Process-driven approach with a focus on advanced enterprise reporting tools (Anaplan experience a distinct advantage).

• Sector Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Irish retail or consumer goods (FMCG) industry is a significant advantage.
