We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator to join a busy and professional organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, personable and proactive individual who enjoys providing a high standard of customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
As a Receptionist / Administrator, you will play a key role in providing a professional front-of-house service while also supporting the wider team with a range of administrative duties. You will be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing calls and correspondence, coordinating meeting rooms and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
A background in legal secretarial or legal administration work would be highly desirable but is not essential. The ideal candidate will have strong administration and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a professional, client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service to clients, visitors and colleagues
- Answer and direct incoming calls and manage general enquiries in a professional manner
- Meet and greet visitors and ensure a high standard of client service
- Coordinate meeting rooms, including room preparation and refreshments
- Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the wider team
- Maintain accurate records, files and documentation
- Assist with document preparation, formatting, filing and archiving
- Manage incoming and outgoing post, couriers and correspondence
- Support diary management, meeting coordination and preparation of meeting materials
- Assist with general office administration and day-to-day office organisation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as required
- Assist with additional administrative duties during busy periods
- Carry out any other duties relevant to the role as required

- Previous experience in a reception, administration, legal secretarial or similar role

- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office

- A proactive, flexible and reliable approach
- Previous experience within a legal environment would be advantageous but is not essential
- Experience with legal case management systems would be advantageous

- Previous experience in a reception, administration, legal secretarial or similar role is desirable
