One of Cork's leading housing developers is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing site management team for large residential projects in the city and county.
Role: Project Manager- Residential
Location: Cork City
Salary: €80-95k, vehicle, pension, bonus
Our client is a leader in delivery of high quality residential projects in Cork City and County. With several high profile projects already underway, they require a Senior Project Manager to help them with the next phase of projects which will see them deliver over 1000 homes in the next 2-3 years.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the commercial team in the planning, tendering and delivery of all developments
- Providing specialist technical leadership
- Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
- Implementation of best practice in project controls, performance management, and Project Reporting.
- Monitoring sub-contractor performance and determining labour requirements.
- Liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
- Being responsible for company Health & Safety files, Homebond applications and other important documents
- Attending weekly/monthly site meetings
The ideal candidate will:
- 5 years experience as Senior Project Manager
- Experience in large scale residential & commercial projects in Ireland or the UK
- Possess a third level qualification in a Construction or Engineering discipline desirable
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Experience liaising with local government, ESB, Irish Water and planning authorities
- Have proficient IT and report writing skills
