A leading Tier 1 main contractor based in Cork is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing delivery team. This is a senior leadership role working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, pharmaceutical, and industrial projects throughout Cork.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to handover. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for project planning, execution, and delivery
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Oversee programme, cost control, and commercial performance
- Ensure compliance with H&S, quality, and environmental standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior management staff
Requirements
- 7-10 years' relevant project management experience with a main contractor
- Background from either a trade or third-level construction qualification
- Proven experience delivering complex projects across commercial, residential, pharma, or industrial sectors
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Irish construction regulations and industry standards
