We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of a large-scale, multi-year ERP programme. As the PMO Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and leading robust programme management office services for a complex, multi-year initiative. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will ensure strong governance, disciplined delivery, and effective coordination across multiple workstreams and vendors.
What You'll Be Doing
- Governance & Standards: Lead and embed best-practice PMO governance, standards, and controls across the ERP programme.
- Integrated Planning: Own the integrated programme plan, tracking milestones, dependencies, and delivery performance.
- Executive Reporting: Produce high-quality reporting for Steering Committees and Executive Sponsors, covering progress, risks, financials, and benefits.
- RAID Management: Manage the programme RAID log, proactively identifying and escalating risks and interdependencies.
- Financial Oversight: Support budget tracking, forecasting, and vendor spend oversight.
- Coordination: Act as a key coordination point between business leads, IT teams, and external system integrators.
- Facilitation: Facilitate programme forums and governance meetings, driving clarity and decision-making.
- Change Support: Work closely with Change and Business Readiness leads to support successful go-live and adoption.
Must haves
- ERP Leadership: Proven experience as a PMO Manager or Senior PMO Lead on a large-scale ERP programme (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Delivery Assurance: A strong background in programme governance, reporting, and financial control.
- Vendor Experience: Experience working with system integrators and third-party vendors in complex delivery environments.
- Communication: Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: A relevant third-level qualification (e.g., Business, IT, or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to business transformation or operating model change programmes.
- Recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
