One of Ireland's largest and most respected main contractors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Services Co-Ordinator to join its Cork-based team. This is a key position within the project delivery team, working across a portfolio of marquee retrofit, commercial, and high-rise residential developments in Cork City.

Job Title: Mechanical Services Co-Ordinator
Location: Cork City, Ireland
Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 + Company Vehicle + 10% Pension + Company Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all mechanical building services activities on site from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
- Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and site management to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards
- Manage procurement schedules and track mechanical package progress against programme
- Attend coordination meetings and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover processes
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in mechanical building services within the construction industry
- Proven experience working on commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical construction projects (essential)
- Experience working with a main contractor or large-scale M&E subcontractor
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, pipework, and mechanical systems
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project timelines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
