Maintenance Technician - West Cork (Food Manufacturing)

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading food manufacturing company based in West Cork. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established production facility with a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults to minimise downtime.
• Support ongoing process and equipment improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure all equipment operates safely and effectively.
• Participate in maintenance planning, spare parts management, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and electrical systems an advantage.
• Flexibility for shift or call-out work as required.
