I'm currently working with a leading construction contractor who is seeking a Junior M&E Coordinator with a strong electrical background to join their team on a large residential apartment development in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electrical background who's looking to take the next step into M&E coordination and gain experience on a major project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the M&E team with the coordination of mechanical and electrical services across the site.

• Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and site management to ensure installations are carried out in line with drawings and specifications.

• Review electrical drawings and identify coordination issues early.

• Assist in monitoring progress, quality, and commissioning activities.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant electrical qualification (degree, diploma, or trade).

• Around 1-3 years' experience in an electrical or M&E coordination role.

• Strong technical understanding of electrical systems in building projects.

• Previous experience on residential or commercial projects is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Proactive and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment.
