My client is looking for an Identity Governance Technical Lead with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork. This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise Identity Governance and Identity Operations services supporting 24/7 environments.
- Lead day-to-day IAM operations, including incident response, change management, and problem resolution.
- Act as an escalation point for complex identity governance issues and service disruptions.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize identity platforms to ensure performance, security, and availability.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure compliant access controls and risk mitigation.
- Drive continuous improvement through documentation, metrics, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
Key Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Deep expertise in identity governance, provisioning, access management, and lifecycle controls.
- Strong experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as Entra ID, Microsoft Identity Manager, and SailPoint IIQ.
- Proven ability to lead technical operations in a 24/7 or on-call support model.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
