Our client is now seeking a Senior Analyst - Global Trade Compliance (GTC) to join their dynamic team in Ireland, supporting strategic trade compliance initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
This high-visibility role will see you working cross-functionally across R&D, global operations, and logistics, helping to ensure compliant, efficient, and optimised trade practices in a highly regulated and fast-moving sector.
This is a hybrid role with strong flexible working conditions.
Partner with Irish manufacturing sites and third-party Business Process Operations (BPO) to maintain full compliance with EU Customs regulations.
Troubleshoot and support import/export operational activities, resolving issues that may impact supply chain timelines.
Monitor and maintain Ireland's self-filing electronic import/export process, collaborating with internal tech teams for timely issue resolution.
Engage with customs brokers, managing vendor relationships and performance.
Apply your regulatory expertise to support the Irish supply chain and manufacturing network.
Lead and contribute to trade compliance improvement projects, with a focus on cost savings and operational efficiency (e.g. Inward Processing).
Stay ahead of changing trade regulations and customs legislation, translating updates into business-impact insights.
Maintain and develop SOPs, local work instructions, and deliver compliance training to key stakeholders.
Track and analyse compliance KPIs and trade metrics for management reporting.
Support AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) and other regulatory trade programmes through internal audit and readiness assessments.
Roll out global compliance models, policies, procedures, and training to ensure continued best practice across all entities.
5-7+ years of experience in a customs agency, logistics provider, pharmaceutical, or multinational organisation.
In-depth knowledge of EU customs, Irish import/export regulations, and trade compliance practices.
Hands-on experience with self-filing customs entries and working within an AEO environment.
Proficient in SAP GTS or similar global trade compliance systems.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills - able to lead, train, and collaborate across teams.
Highly effective under pressure, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
