General Manager (Regional) - Munster
Morgan McKinley is currently partnering with a leading services business to recruit a General Manager (Regional) to oversee the delivery of hard facilities and utilities services across multiple high-profile pharmaceutical client sites in the Munster region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader with a strong engineering background and operational management expertise to join a well-established, progressive organisation in a strategic, commercially-focused role.
About the Role:
This is a permanent, full-time leadership position with overall operational, commercial, and technical responsibility for a portfolio of pharmaceutical clients in Munster. The successful candidate will manage a team of Contract Managers and site-based staff, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, safety, and client satisfaction across all contracts.
Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day operational management of multiple pharmaceutical client sites

Leadership, mentoring, and performance management of Contract Managers and site teams

Full P&L accountability and management of contract budgets and financial performance

Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, securing contract renewals and contributing to new business opportunities

Ensure continuous compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations and service delivery

Actively contribute to company strategy, growth, and business development plans
The Ideal Candidate:

Engineering degree or trade qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services)

5-10+ years' experience in a senior management role within industrial utilities or facilities services, ideally in pharmaceutical or regulated environments

Strong leadership and commercial management skills with proven operational oversight

Experience operating in highly regulated environments (e.g. SEVESO, pharma utilities)

Excellent client relationship management and team leadership capabilities

Strong business development mindset and ideally well-connected within the Munster region
