We are seeking an experienced MES Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical client in North Dublin on a long-term contract basis. This role focuses on the development, configuration, and ongoing support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ensuring alignment with production and quality objectives, particularly in support of lean manufacturing initiatives and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure MES master batch records and workflows that support robust manufacturing processes and maintain product integrity.
- Engage in system testing and validation efforts for MES recipes and associated system configurations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of key MES documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and validation protocols.
- Ensure MES recipe development aligns with corporate templates and standards.
- Provide MES administrative support, including integration with external platforms such as SAP, LIMS, and DeltaV.
- Oversee the MES Syncade platform setup, including equipment and materials management, reporting structures, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an MES engineering role.
- Hands-on experience in MES configuration, system design, and process automation within pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing.
- Background in manufacturing IT systems or process control systems in regulated life sciences environments is highly desirable.
