Financial Accountant

On behalf of our client, a prominent player in their industry, we are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is focused on financial process management, reporting, and control across group entities.

Financial Reporting & Management: Prepare monthly and annual accounts for group entities, managing all associated reconciliations and variance analysis.

Transactional Operations: Process journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments to ensure all day-to-day business transactions are meticulously recorded.

Cash Management: Supervise daily bank and cash balances, execute monthly bank reconciliations, and deliver accurate cash flow forecasts.

Budgeting & Compliance: Play a core role in compiling annual budgets and financial forecasts, while taking ownership of VAT return management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Accounts Payable team regarding supplier and subcontractor invoicing, and build strong working relationships with internal procurement and operational management teams.

System Optimisation: Assist the wider finance team in driving and utilising digital technology solutions to optimise financial reporting.
