Finance Specialist

Are you a proactive finance professional looking to step into a high-visibility position? Our client is seeking a Finance Specialist to join their growing global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) team in Cork. You will combine core financial operations with modern data reporting and process automation to drive efficiency across global entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial & P2P Operations: Support Source-to-Settle (STS) transactions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice matching (GR/IR reconciliations), and payment performance metrics across global business units.
- Process Leadership: Play a leading role in managing financial payment processes, virtual cards, and expanding global procurement controls.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build financial dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Advanced Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau to track operational performance.
- Automation & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by streamlining P2P workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps) and modern data tools.
What We Are Looking For
- Systems: Strong working knowledge of SAP is essential.
- Finance Expertise: Background in financial operations, P2P/STS processes, or general ledger/accounting controls in a multinational environment.
- Data & Tech Skills: Advanced Excel (Power Query, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and SQL experience. Exposure to Power BI, Python, or data transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx/Databricks) is a distinct advantage.
