We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator to join a busy and professional organisation. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient and well-organised working environment. You will coordinate facilities services, liaise with internal teams and external suppliers, manage maintenance requests and support the wider organisation with the day-to-day running of the office and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day facilities operations across the workplace
- Manage maintenance requests and liaise with contractors and external suppliers
- Arrange and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance
- Carry out regular checks of the building, facilities and communal areas
- Ensure facilities issues are identified, reported and resolved promptly
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and service providers, including site access
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, servicing and facilities activities
- Support health and safety requirements and ensure relevant checks are completed
- Assist with fire safety, emergency procedures and workplace compliance
- Manage office, cleaning, facilities and maintenance supplies
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as required
- Coordinate meeting rooms, communal areas and general workplace facilities
- Support office moves, refurbishments, events and other workplace projects
- Liaise with internal teams, colleagues, visitors and external suppliers
- Ensure the workplace is clean, safe, tidy and maintained to a professional standard
- Monitor and manage facilities-related invoices and purchase orders as required
- Provide general administrative support to the facilities and wider office team
- Assist with ad hoc facilities and workplace projects as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and practical, with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on providing a high standard of service.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in facilities, workplace, property, office administration or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- The ability to liaise confidently with contractors, suppliers and internal teams
- Good problem-solving and practical skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A flexible and hands-on approach to supporting the smooth running of the workplace
- A strong awareness of health and safety and workplace standards
