Role Overview
We are seeking an ERP Business Analyst / Product Owner to embed within the business during a Microsoft Business Central implementation. This is a business-side role, acting as a product owner-style interface between stakeholders, IT, and ERP partners.
This role goes beyond traditional BA or UAT support. The successful candidate will own business requirements, shape processes, and drive ERP adoption, ensuring the system delivers real operational value to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as ERP BA / Product Owner for the Business Central programme
- Embed within the business to understand current and future-state processes
- Own, prioritise, and manage business requirements and ERP backlog
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
- Work closely with IT and ERP vendors to guide solution design and delivery
- Drive business readiness, adoption, and change around the ERP
- Coach business users through process and system change
- Support testing phases where needed (not UAT-execution focused)
- Identify optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities post go-live
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an ERP Business Analyst, ERP Product Owner, or ERP Consultant
- Experience working on ERP implementations (Business Central or similar)
- Strong business process and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to operate independently within the business
- Comfortable acting as the bridge between business and IT
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Business Central
- BIS / business systems background
- Power BI or reporting experience
- Change management or ERP adoption experience
