Documentation Controller

We're delighted to be bringing a new Documentation Controller opportunity to the market.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and enjoys keeping things on track. You'll play a key role in managing documentation throughout the lifecycle of customer orders and projects, ensuring everything is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
Working closely with internal teams, customers and suppliers, you'll help ensure documentation is managed efficiently and in line with customer requirements, company procedures and quality standards.
What will you be doing?
- Managing and maintaining project and customer documentation.
- Tracking documentation requirements and ensuring submissions are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Reviewing customer orders and documentation requirements to ensure everything is accurate and complete.
- Preparing, compiling and issuing documentation packages to customers.
- Uploading and managing documents through company and customer portals.
- Maintaining document management systems and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Preparing documentation reports, KPIs and status updates as required.
- Ensuring documentation processes comply with company procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining organised electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams regarding documentation requirements and progress.
- Providing administrative support, including activities linked to documentation and invoicing.
- Supporting the ongoing improvement of document control processes and procedures.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and takes pride in getting the detail right.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, document control or coordination role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work to deadlines and keep track of multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A confident and professional approach when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Experience using ERP systems or document control software would be an advantage.
