Morgan McKinley is hiring exclusively for an experienced Business Development Manager or Senior Sales professional to take on a National Sales role or a market leader in automated selling in Ireland.
National Sales Manager - Wexford - Remote
The role will be reporting into the Managing Director and will be responsible for the sales and strategy plan for several varied sales channels for the company's primary offering in automated selling. With newly secured Irish distribution rights for a European market leading automated sales product, the National Sales Manager will be tasked with building the national sales plan from scratch and will be comfortable with taking ideas at concept stage and nurturing growth within the sales division.
Build and then manage relationships with clients and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
Expansion and maintenance of long-term customer relationships
Development and implementation of strategies to expand business relationships
Anticipation / identification of customer wishes and participation in the translation into product requirements
Handling of commercial, contractual, and legal issues (with the support of company experts)
Creation and primarily responsible negotiation of offers and framework agreements
Support of internal order processing through order clarity and escalation management
Participation in market observation and strategy definition for the logistics automation division.
Sales field service for new and existing customers of the company's product and solution portfolio from the area of industrial automation.
Advising customers and interested parties as well as developing solution
Systematic customer penetration and new customer acquisition within the assigned sales region to achieve the sales targets
Responsibility for contribution margin, sales, and price development
Participation in the development of the overall sales strategy
Use of CRM to plan all sales activities
Representation of the company at relevant trade fairs and exhibitions
Successfully completed studies or technician training in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology or related fields
5 plus years of experience in consulting-intensive technical sales in industrial automation, vending machines, or automated selling products
Previous experience in start up capacity highly desirable
Convincing demeanour, negotiating confidence and communication skills
Strong sales rapport and good customer relationship management skills
Ability to organize yourself and work in a team
