We are seeking an experienced Foodservice Key Account Manager-Fast Foods/Local QSR/Industrial/Corporate/Hotel & Restaurants, Ireland/Nothern Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our client's team in the food service industry.

Are you the ambitious business professional who can demonstrate a track record of success in the Irish Foodservice market - managing national key-chained accounts. With a passion for food and with commercial astuteness.

What will you be doing?

This experienced key account manager with national coverage will be working as part of an experienced commercial team. Reporting directly to the Senior Business Manager & working closely with the marketing team, this is a dynamic role that incorporates new business development as well as account management. You will develop strong relationships with channel specific key chained accounts in the fast food/local QSR chains, understanding their business & offering solutions, putting the client firmly on the map. Work effectively with your sales & marketing colleagues to create value for all stakeholders. Driving sales to achieve strong, noticeable results. Creating efficient relationships with key contacts in each account, across the channel e.g. with chefs, food & beverage managers, owners and c-suite. Work closely with product management & NPD teams delivering compelling customer specific propositions on product development. Total Profit & Loss accountability for the business portfolio / customer relationship and budgeted scorecard delivery.

This role would be ideal for an established Key/National Account Manager who is looking to develop & implement an account-based strategy guided by marketing professionals to realize our shared vision.

What do you have to offer?

You are a candidate who has worked for a manufacturer in the past and has experience with working with internal & external multi-disciplinary teams. This includes marketing, NPD teams, commercial operation, production, quality control etc. You must have a creative mind-set when it comes to customer acquisition, working with customer stakeholders (DMU's) to drive new product ideas/concepts and cross & upselling to existing customers, increasing the LTV.

· Must have a mind-set & ethos of working as part of a one-team culture

· Must have experience in the fast food/local QSR channel

· Strong understanding & application of sales process & negotiation skills

· A go getter, tenacious with excellent communication & listening skills

· A good understanding of basic marketing principles

· A new business generator, persistence, consistency & disciplined approach is a must

· Must have a passion & strong affinity for food, with experience in/with chefs desired

· Commercially astute & be able to manage your own P&L

· Hunger & passion to be better everyday

· Project management skills (agile principles) desired

Remuneration Details: Basic €40k to €45k, Generous Bonus, Company Pension, Private healthcare & other perks.

Location: Ideally greater Dublin area -based with regular national travel
