Job Description

A Global eCommerce solutions provider seeks a Senior Sourcing and Solutions Manager to join their Global Logistics Team to lead and support day to day logistics solutions.

Role Description

This role is a key member of the global Logistics team they will lead and support the day to day logistics solutions, sourcing, RFQ, Total Cost to Serve, contract negotiation and completion processes. They will provide leadership in supplier relationship management, project implementation, process improvement, managing the workflow and prioritizing process to meet business objectives. In addition to this, the successful candidate will have ownership over developing and maintaining process checklists and Standard Operating Procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and execute a strategic Sourcing & Solutions plan for each category for assigned.
  • Identification and qualification of valid suppliers and solutions within the supply market.
  • Maintain the workflow of the department to achieve Sales and Operational deadlines
  • Continuously develop and enhance the Sourcing and Solutions.
  • Conduct Sourcing & Solutions projects.
  • Agree supplier Contracts.
  • Oversee the preparation of client specific rate and solutions.
  • Complete cost reviews and deliver plans to achieve service and budget targets.
  • Support the business in developing strategic business solutions.
  • Maintain supplier relationships to achieve high performing partnerships.
  • Manage and formulate an approach to carrier management and supplier selection.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:·Bachelor's degree in a Business/Supply Chain/Engineering or related degree.·6 Yrs. management experience gained in a similar environment.·Significant experience in Airfreight and final mile solutioning·Strong project management and cross functional team management skills.·Strong influencing skill with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders·Excellent operational organisation skills
