Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley are working with a leading manufacturing company in Galway city who are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role will support financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance, while providing insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.

• Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial guidance and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) preferred.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication.
