Job Description
Opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join an ongoing priority project for one of the world's leading investment banks. 6 month DRC with view of extension.
Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help them accelerate an ongoing project - a banking platform for institutional clients.
This is a Daily Rate Contract for an initial 6 months with the strong possibility of extending to 12 months and beyond.
Length: 6 Months with view to extend
Rate: Competitive
Location: Dublin, hybrid & working with global teams
Your New Role :
- Assisting the business with project scope documents through reviewing & analysing
- Planning, organising and managing the requirements gathering process
- Elicit requirements through workshops, process analysis and observation & many more methods
- Document agreed requirements on-time, in line with scope & goals of a project to ensure benefits are realised as early as possible.
- Prioritise requirements based on feasibility and business need, ensure a minimum viable approach is always adhered to.
- Effective communication to internal stakeholders throughout a project.
- Document/analyse change requests as required by a project.
- Support development, system testing and user acceptance testing during a project.
- Effectively track & record time spent on projects.
- Bring new ways of doing things through innovation to ensure you & your team are moving forward.
- Mapping out As-Is processes and creating new To-Be processes
Skills and experience needed :
- 8 years of experience as a business analyst, working as subject matter expert across a broad range of business analysis elements
- Solutions orientated with advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experienced working in an agile environment
- Strong desktop, IT and systems skills required, and an ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.
- Experienced working on a banking platform, desirable
- Extremely strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work proactively and independently to deliver high quality and on time
