Job Description

One of the world's technology leaders is looking for a People Operations Payroll Specialist. This role is great for someone with 4+ years experience in an international, fast-paced organisation.

We are looking for a People Operations Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will champion seamless payroll data feed to Finance payroll vendors, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing can be undertaken. This position requires strong operational controls and due diligences, proactively manage internal and external stakeholders, and effectively manage operational key performance metrics. Employee experience remains priority while ensuring organizational compliance needs.

You have strong analytical skills, people and vendor management experience, with a strong desire to drive improvements and continuously simplify processes. Knowledge of local pay regulations across the region will be a plus. As a self-starter with the ability to collaborate and work independently in our fast-paced global team environment, this is an exciting role for an experienced HR professional to grow in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage effective employee records, benefits and payroll data feed for accurate and timely payroll processing and tax reporting
  • Ensure data feed requirements are in compliant with processing legal and tax regulations
  • Manage employees' payroll related queries (and escalations) and proactive communication on payroll legislative changes
  • Deliver results on key performance areas for payroll metrics and issue management process
  • Work effectively as change agent and drive continuous process improvement
  • Provide data support for internal and external payroll audits and local wage surveys
  • Partner on specific projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Holds Bachelor's degree in any field
  • 4+ years People Operations or Finance experience in an international fast-paced organization
  • Experience in operational internal controls, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to details and accuracy
  • Track records on process improvement and/or automation implementations
  • Collaborate effectively across the organization, particularly strong ability to impact and influence partners, vendors to achieve results
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a global team environment
  • Ability to work professionally and discreetly with extremely confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Payroll experience and working knowledge of employee records, benefits and payroll workstreams
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Experience in Excel (pivot tables/reports, vlookup, charts, graphs, macros) and perform data analysis
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
