Job Description

A leading educational organization' Professional Academy is seeking an E-Commerce Executive to join its team who provide training to individuals and professionals.

This group focuses on delivering shorter, career-focused training to individuals across a wide variety of Professional Diploma and related courses

The person:

Tech savvy and experienced professional, capable of working hands-on across a variety of web platforms and technologies to identify and execute on optimisations to drive lead and enrolment in the Professional Academy. The Professional Academy is an ambitious project which seeks to make a significant contribution to promoting skills-based training to the workforce.

The role:

  • Own and develop the technical infrastructure of our online stack, including the website and associated plugins, payments, domains and hosting infrastructure, interfacing with third party vendors and ensuring maximum uptime.
  • The primary purpose of the position is to take a data-led approach to optimising the web platform to drive quality lead and enrolment targets.
  • Enable efficient customer acquisition through the delivery and optimization of landing pages, microsites and other onsite materials and report on efficacy of same.
  • Enhance the analytics capacity of the organisation, ensuring a clean analytics structure, owning general website analysis, finding and implementing new tools with enhanced capabilities and pioneering their use in the organisation.
  • Conduct regular conversion rate optimization initiatives site wide.
  • To meet and exceed sales targets.

The person:

  • A technical sales background, with hands on experience managing hosting, payments, domain management with a focus on sales
  • Working knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Deep understanding of online sales measurement platforms
  • Experience working within a highly CRM centric sales organisation. Hubspot experience a plus but not required.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High-energy problem solver who thrives in a demanding commercial environment.
