Job Description
Exciting new opportunity for a HR Generalist/HRBP to join a leading Manufacturing company in Cork. This role will provide day-to-day support HR support to the business.
The role will report the HR Strategic Business partner and will support a specific business area, as well as maintain broad-based knowledge of the organization and its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business area to be the point of contact for general HR queries and provide guidance and support to Managers on all HR processes, programmes, policies, and initiatives whilst ensuring compliance with Irish Employment Legislation
- Ensure compliance with legislation is always maintained in the business area across all over our business processes.
- Support HR strategic business partner with HR metrics for the business area to drive continuous improvement and support ongoing strategic projects in the area.
- Work closely with HR Operations team who support key topics such as employee induction, absence management, payroll, benefit administration etc. and share updates or follow ups in your business area as needed.
- Support organisations change management and provide key updates / training to the business as required.
- Maintain HR Polices with a particular focus on Employee Workplace Standards & Behaviours policies (Employee Relations).
- Understand Local and Global HR Business Processes to support and guide leadership with day-to-day activities in the organisation.
- Support Talent Acquisition for your area including all aspects of recruitment and onboarding.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse trends, and present back any trends and key findings.
- Provide site support for Absence and Illness case management working closely with HR partners and Occupational Health Department.
- Ability to escalate items appropriately based on good judgement of the seriousness of the issue.
- Flexibility to assist HR team as required with Ad hoc projects/duties as required.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of HR experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related field.
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- A strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
