Job Description

Our client is looking for a Product Owner to join their company during a busy, transformational time.

This role will be about establishing a Digital Delivery Program which is at its building stage. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with web experience to play an integral role in the evolution of our online digital estate.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish the vision for the product and communicate the drivers and benefits to the Group Digital Team and business stakeholders
  • Define, maintain and regularly communicate product roadmap
  • Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
  • Integrate the customer's needs into a prioritised Product Backlog which is continually refined
  • Ensure that the product backlog is visible, transparent and clear to all and shows the priorities
  • Attend ceremonies (e.g. Daily Scrum, Sprint planning sessions, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives etc.) to help remove blockers and answer questions
  • Contribute to definition of the sprint goal
  • Be the point of contact for any questions and clarifications as required, pertaining to the problem to be solved, what is to be built and why
  • Define the Acceptance Criteria of the work to be done with assistance from the Group Salesforce team
  • Provide feedback and acceptance of completed work as 'Done' typically through sprint reviews
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are being met and make decisions based upon their needs including adherence to business controls or legal requirements
  • Manage product delivery expectations and status reporting to project stakeholders
  • Responsible for maximising ROI of outcomes and alignment to business objectives
  • Turn data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in a product role
  • Understanding of CMS systems, integration principles, DevOps and agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, both tech and non-tech
  • Driving license desirable
