Job Description

Leading, multinational Pharmaceutical Company is seeking an SAP Coordinator to join their Supply Chain Management team based on site their state-of-the-art biologics and vaccine facility in Carlow.

SAP Coordinator - New Material Introduction

As SAP Coordinator you will sit in a cross functional role; helping to build versatility in the team by supporting Supplier Quality for NPI New Material Introduction in addition to supporting the Material Master and SAP Team.

The successful candidate will ideally have some knowledge of quality systems, experience in SAP Materials Management processes and Master Data Management.

You will be responsible for:

NPI New Material Introduction:

  • Responsible for completion of the Material introduction process at Carlow ensuring that all suppliers and materials are approved for use on site in compliance with site and Global procedures. This requires functional business process experience and the ability to work closely with Technical Engineers, Integrated Process Team and Quality Teams.
  • Manage supplier complaints, ensuring that they are raised investigated and closed in accordance with site and global procedures.

Material Master Data & SAP Team

  • Master Data Maintenance and Governance
  • Maintain SAP Support and interaction between the SAP and MES teams

In General:

  • Driving compliance with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and good documentation practices (GDP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions.
  • Driving continuous improvement by leading and active participation in investigations and investigation reports, execution/development of change control, and contribution to Kaizen events as appropriate. Manage root cause analysis of issues, using standard tools and methods, to resolve associated issues

Skills

  • Relevant 3rd level degree at a minimum plus knowledge of SAP
  • Experience supporting quality related issues
  • Experience working with quality management systems
  • Change Control/ Change Management experience preferable
  • Six Sigma Green Belt preferable
  • Considerable experience in a comparable role; contributing to the business at a directional, strategic level; ideally in a manufacturing, preferably GMP setting
