Head of Securities Operations - Foreign Securities Firm

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team in back-office functions, including Equities settlement, Corporate Actions (Fixed Income and Equities), Cash Management, and Account Services, while reporting to the Head of Operations HK.
• Improve team productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Implement and promote standardized operational procedures and processes.
• Enhance team dynamics and engagement.
• Drive operational excellence.
• Align the Operations Department with the firm's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with business leaders on new product development.
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent.
• Manage and oversee the department's expense budget.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to local, regional, and global projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 20+ years of experience in Operations or related areas.
• At least 5 years as Head of Settlement or similar leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of the Equities/Fixed Income product life cycle.
• Expertise in settlements and corporate actions workflows (critical requirement).
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.
