Head of Wellness Strategy and Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and management of health and wellness initiatives. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategic planning and the day-to-day execution of programs aimed at improving the healthspan or wellbeing of clients.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning
- Strategy Formulation: Develop a holistic wellness proposition that integrates market insights, customer needs, and long-term business goals.
- Business Case Development: Create robust business models, cost projections, and engagement plans for new wellness initiatives.
- Health Transformation: Lead large-scale change initiatives to align the organization's services with modern health and wellness trends, such as healthspan innovation.
Operational Excellence
- Day-to-Day Oversight: Manage the daily operations of wellness centers or digital health platforms, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Process Redesign: Identify opportunities to simplify complex workflows, reduce operational costs, and improve system scalability.
- Service Integration: Coordinate cross-functionally between departments (like Marketing, Finance, and HR) to ensure a cohesive and high-quality customer experience.
Partnership and Stakeholder Management
- Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and onboard external service partners, health vendors, or insurance providers.
- External Network Building: Maintain professional relationships with community partners, industry experts, and medical professionals to expand the wellness ecosystem.
Data Analytics and Performance
- Metric Standardization: Develop and standardize health metrics to track program effectiveness and patient outcomes.
- Financial Accountability: Manage substantial budgets, prepare financial forecasts, and conduct data-driven analysis to justify strategic decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver actionable reports for senior leadership regarding program ROI and operational performance.
Program and People Management
- Program Development: Design and roll out specific programs covering fitness, nutrition, mental health, and preventive care.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of managers, specialists, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder from a reputable university
- At least 10 years of relevant experience gained from healthcare and wellness industry
- Experience of developing innovative wellness programmes and workshops for Ultra-high-net-worth individuals
- Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Prior management consulting experience is a plus
- Less experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Manager
