Support the Team Lead in overseeing daily operations and performing checks on various trade-related transactions, including import/export trade, account receivable financing, factoring, and handling non-trade bonds, guarantees, and standby L/Cs.
Address customer queries related to trade finance and import/export bills.
Provide assistance to Relationship Managers regarding trade services.
Manage customer service functions to deliver efficient and high-quality support for corporate and institutional clients.
Perform document checks for import/export transactions presented under L/Cs in accordance with UCP and international standard practices.
Ensure all transactions meet service standards and comply with internal policies, external regulations, and guidelines.
Assist in the review of policies and guidelines, and contribute to ad hoc tasks, projects, and cross-team support as required by Banking Operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields, with 8+ years of experience in trade services operations.
Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments, international trade regulations, and banking practices (ICC UCP, URC, ISBP, ISP, URDG rules).
Experience handling complex and structured trade-related transactions is an advantage.
CDCS certification is preferred.
Familiarity with AML/sanction screening and pre-assessment checks for transactions is highly desirable.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently under pressure in a multitasking environment.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in operational risk frameworks with the ability to identify irregularities.
Experience with trade finance systems and project enhancements.
Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
