The Role We are partnering with our client to find an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager to drive their digital strategy and transformation journey. In this hybrid role bridging business and technology, you will lead impactful digital projects from conception to deployment, leveraging your technical background to collaborate closely with the development teams.
Responsible for multiple digital and transformation projects to align with both technology and business roadmaps.
Provide end-to-end project management including requirement definition, resources, budget, schedule, solutions, and deliverables.
Responsible for proposing and driving development of end-to-end digital solutions across web, mobile, API etc., from solution planning, feasibility study to entire development cycle.
Work closely with various IT teams, business units, and vendors to ensure alignment of initiatives.
Facilitate clear, hands-on communication with the technical team by directly reviewing and reading code to ensure project alignment, technical feasibility, and quality.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in leading digital application development with a design and development background.
Project Management: Experience in leading mid to large-scale digital development projects, ideally with technical know-how using different technologies. A proven background in project management is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and foundational coding knowledge is required to effectively communicate with tech teams and review codebases.
Innovation: Hands-on experience implementing or managing local automation chatbots and Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions is a strong plus.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills, presentation and interpersonal skills, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the insurance or banking industry is preferred.
