Solution Architect (Perm, up to 90k)

This role acts as the primary design authority, bridging the gap between business strategy and advanced technology delivery-including GenAI integration-across onshore and offshore agile teams.

About the job

• Architectural Leadership & Strategy: Define and evolve the end-to-end target state architecture and technology roadmap for platforms, balancing innovation with scalability, security, and technical debt reduction.
• Business Partnership & Transformation: Act as the primary Technology SME and trusted advisor to leadership, translating complex business goals into concrete, executable technical solutions.
• GenAI & Automation Innovation: Lead the architectural design and deployment of advanced capabilities (e.g., GenAI, Intelligent OCR, workflow automation) to drive measurable operational efficiencies.
• Delivery Governance & Design Authority: Serve as the design authority across the delivery lifecycle; partner with system integrators, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure architectural intent is realized.
• BAU Oversight & Operational Readiness: Provide architectural governance for mission-critical production systems, ensuring defined KPIs/SLAs are met regarding platform stability, resiliency, and performance.
• Risk, Compliance & Standards: Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, and Risk teams to ensure all solutions comply with corporate policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 10+ years in large-scale IT organizations, with 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Tech Lead delivering complex, business-critical platforms (Consulting background preferred).
• Deep hands-on experience shaping Operations transformations across the complete lifecycle
• Proven capability in API-led/event-driven microservices, data architecture, and hybrid/cloud environments (specifically Microsoft Azure and/or Alibaba Cloud).
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise GenAI ecosystems (e.g., Azure OpenAI) and intelligent automation for practical use cases like agent assist and document processing.
• Proven track record governing large-scale, cross-functional delivery teams, including offshore/nearshore development centers, within Agile/SAFe frameworks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering;
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
