Key Responsibilities
- Develop internal valuation models independently, conducting project economic analysis, cash-flow forecasting, investment-return calculations, and sensitivity analysis. Review financial models and valuation reports prepared by external advisors (e.g., financial advisers, appraisal firms) and provide clear and constructive commentary.
- Prepare model-parameter assumption collection sheets, offering professional advice on the reasonableness of key assumptions and metrics utilized in valuations.
- Translate valuation findings into decision-support documents, including valuation-bid recommendations, detailed valuation reports, and the economic-analysis sections of project-initiation and investment-decision applications.
- Assist in reviewing project materials during the development phase, perform preliminary project screenings, participate in due diligence processes, and examine due diligence reports relating to valuation.
- Provide authoritative valuation opinions both internally and externally. Offer valuation advisory support during transaction-document negotiations and deal discussions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Economics, Finance, or Accounting; a Master's degree is preferred. A hybrid background that includes Engineering is a valuable plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in valuation, preferably within a financial services or multinational environment.
- English fluency sufficient for effective communication in a professional setting.
- Extensive experience in valuation and tax/finance, particularly concerning cross-border power-asset M&A transactions.
