Director of Product Management & Delivery
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Delivery to lead the end-to-end delivery of both digital and non-digital products across multiple business propositions, including education, workforce and corporate offerings. This role ensures that all products are commercially viable, compliant and aligned with customer needs, delivering maximum value at every stage of the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional product delivery teams to achieve customer-centric outcomes.
- Drive a culture of continuous value delivery, efficiency and excellence in product delivery.
- Define and implement product delivery strategies aligned with organisational goals, including metrics, timelines and resource allocation.
- Oversee governance and assurance frameworks to maintain quality, compliance and ethical standards.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure delivery standards, timelines and budgets are met.
- Monitor product performance, ROI and operational outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, including equality, diversity & inclusion (EDI), AI ethics, cybersecurity and data protection.
- Continuously analyse risks, challenges and performance data to drive process improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading product delivery for complex, multi-product programmes.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools, including Scrum.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships on a global scale.
- Expertise in financial planning, budget management and ROI measurement within product delivery frameworks.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced degree or professional certification in project management, business administration or IT governance is desirable.
Desirable:
- Experience across multiple product lifecycles from design to delivery.
- Familiarity with product performance analytics and data driven decision-making.
- Background in education, assessment or workforce-focused product delivery.
